Questo studio di produzione audio è composto da due stanze (sala regia e ripresa) isolate acusticamente tra loro e dall’ambiente circostante.
La regia dello studio è disegnata secondo il criterio “non-environment”, ossia fronte e pavimento solidi e massicci, soffitto e retro particolarmente assorbenti per le basse frequenze.
Nella parete posteriore, affogato nel trattamento acustico assorbente, c’è un diffusore molto efficace (skyline) per le medio alte frequenze, utile per restituire un campo acustico omogeneo in tutto l’ambiente e rendere la sala fruibile non soltanto come regia audio, ma anche come sala ripresa.
Nel trattamento acustico sono stati utilizzati elementi e materiali provenienti dalla tradizione, come la pietra, tipica delle costruzioni umbre e ovviamente il legno.
La sala di ripresa ha una riverberazione molto bassa per poter consentire di lavorare in post-produzione, è acusticamente neutra (non è presente il tipico effetto di timbrica nasale comune negli ambienti in cui è presente troppo materiale assorbente poroso): presenta una serie di assorbitori/diffusori a stecche di legno installate per restituire brillantezza e naturalezza al timbro degli strumenti.

This is an audio production studio consists of two rooms (directing and recording room) acoustically isolated from each other and from the surrounding environment.
The directing room is designed according to the “not-environment”standard that means solid front and floor, ceiling and back particularly absorbent for low frequencies.
In the rear wall, drowned in absorbent acoustic treatment, there is also a very effective diffusor (skyline) for medium and high frequencies, aim to obtain a uniform sound field throughout the room and make it usable not only as a directing room, but also as a recording room.
For the acoustic treatment they have been used elements and materials, including some from the tradition, such as stone, typical houses of Umbria and of course wood.
The recording room has a very low reverberation in order to allow to work in post-production, but is acoustically neutral: presents a series of absorber/diffusor slats made of wood to restore brilliance and naturalness to the timbre of the instruments.
